We would like to thank ALFA Engineering (http://www.alfaengltd.com/) for their donation and Torchy’s Sport Imaging for donating the profits from the sale of orange shirts in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to Circle Project. Thank you also to Camp Wolf Willow for their ongoing monthly support and the many individuals who made a donation during our event honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day held on September 30, 2021. These donations will be used for the development of Circle Project’s Community & Cultural Hub.

On September 30, 2021, Circle Project and Regina Work Prep will be hosting an Orange Shirt Day event at City Square (Victoria Park) from 12:00 – 1:30 pm. This event will be held on the newly recognized National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and it will be a day to learn about, act on and honour the impact of residential schools and consider ways to address the 94 Calls to Action, outlined in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) Final Report. In response to Call to Action #80, this event will provide our community with an opportunity “to honour Survivors, their families and communities.”  It will be an opportunity for people to share their message of hope and reconciliation and an important first step towards healing for our community.

Circle Project Council and Staff would like to thank Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP for their donation which was made in honour and support of Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Their donation will be applied towards the creation of Circle Project’s Community and Cultural Hub in North Central. The Hub will be a community place in Regina where all Indigenous peoples will have access to free self-improvement programming as well as cultural programs and activities.

Circle Project Council and Staff would like to thank Indigenous Christian Fellowship (ICF) for sharing one of their donations with us, a trash/recycling bin. This will come in handy when we move to Circle Project’s Community and Cultural Hub. Thank you ICF!

On September 30, 2021, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange shirt day, Torchy’s Sport Imaging will be donating the profits from the sale of all orange shirts purchased through this link: ORANGE SHIRT SALE from now until September 17, 2021. Funds will be used for the development of Circle Project’s Community & Cultural Hub.

The orange shirts are worn to commemorate the Residential School experience, to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families and to commit to the ongoing process of reconciliation.  This year, with the ongoing location of the unmarked graves at former Residential Schools, the orange shirts have become a unifying way for all Canadians to come together and share that “all children matter”. Please consider purchasing a shirt and wearing it on September 30.

The Circle Project office will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 6, 2021. If you have any questions or concerns, please email info@circleproject.ca or call 306-347-7515 and leave a message. We will return your inquiry when we resume services on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

Circle Project’s Council and Staff would like to thank Eliza Daniels for the beautiful donation of three pieces of artwork that we look forward to hanging in our new building for everyone to see. Thank you Eliza!

Thank you to Tanner and the team from Munz Media who came to our new building to take photos of the construction progress. The beautiful bouquet of flowers to celebrate our one year anniversary of working together was such a nice surprise.

Circle Project’s Council, Staff and children would like to thank National Tire Distributors and Ward Tire Craft for the donation of new tires for our van. This thoughtful gift will be put to good use in continuing our community work. Thank you!
